• Ralph Hennessee

    Dr. Hennessee graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1969 and joined the United States Army. While in the Army he attended the basic and advance courses at Health Service Command in San Antonio, TX and the Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. He went on to receive his pedodontic training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and Children's Mercy Hospital. After serving in the Army for 10 years Dr. Hennessee completed his service while stationed at Fort Polk. He went on to open a private practice in Leesville, LA. Since starting his practice in 1979 it has grown to include a full time general dentist, a part time general dentist, 4 hygienists, and 4 specialists.

  • Gary DeWitt

    Dr. DeWitt graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Zoology in 1975. He went on to attend the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1979 with a dental degree. Dr. DeWitt practiced general dentistry in Lafayette, LA before attending the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry. He graduated in 1982 with a certificate in Periodontics and an M.S. in Oral Biology. Dr. DeWitt is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Louisiana Society of periodontics. He maintains a practice in Alexandria, LA and has been a practicing specialist at West Louisiana Dental Center since the mid 1980's.

  • Ronald Marks

    Dr. Marks attended Louisiana State University graduating in 1964 with a BA in Chemistry and received his postgraduate from Loyola University in 1970. He went on to attend Charity Hospital & Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1973 with a certificate in Oral Surgery. Dr. Marks is a clinical Professor at LSU School of Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a past president of the Louisiana Dental Association. Dr. Marks is an Oral Surgeon in Alexandria, LA and has been a practicing specialist at West Louisiana Dental Center Since 1989.

  • Sean Smith

    Dr. Smith trained at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery, and his specialty degree in Orthodontics. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, and Advanced Education in Orthodontics. Dr. Smith has been practicing Dentistry at his office in Baton Rouge Since 1997 and has been a practicing specialist at West Louisiana Dental Center for over 5 years.





  • Ronald Grimball

    Dr. Grimball attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to receive his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Grimball is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Dental Association, Calcasieu Parish Dental Study Club and the Louisiana Political Dental Action Committee. Dr. Grimball has a private practice in Sulfur Louisiana and has been a practicing specialist at West Louisiana Dental Center since 2003.

  • Kevin Hamilton

    Dr. Hamilton completed his pre-dental education from Texas A&M University in 1992. He went on to attend Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. Immediately after graduating he started a private practice in Lake Charles Louisiana. He has been a practicing part-time Dentist at West Louisiana Dental Center since 1999.





  • Tracey Williams

    TC attended North East Louisiana University in Monroe Louisiana and graduated in 1991 with a degree in hygiene. She went back to school in 1998 to receive her local anesthesia license. TC has been a team member at West Louisiana Dental Center since 1993.

  • Janice Smithkors

    Janice attended North Western State University and then graduated from Lamar University in Texas with a hygiene degree. She then returned to school in 2001 to receive her local anesthesia license. Janice has been a team member at West Louisiana Dental Center since 2002.

  • Mary Hatten

    Mary graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe with her dental hygiene degree in 1992. She then went back to school in 2000 to receive her local anesthesia license. Mary has been a team member at West Louisiana Dental Center since 1998.

  • Danielle Carter

    Danielle attended Louisiana State University and graduated in 2005 with her dental hygiene degree and a certificate in administration of local anesthesia. After being displaced by hurricane Katrina she came to join our team at West Louisiana Dental Center in 2005.
